Your story matters and is unique to you. There is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy so I will spend time understanding your experiences. I believe the client is the only expert on their own difficulties. I work to develop a personalized approach to address stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or family and relationship issues. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, sessions allow you to gain self-awareness and learn ways to find balance and overall well-being.

I enjoy building upon clients’ strengths, instilling hope, and providing a safe, warm, and accepting space to look inside and explore your thoughts and feelings. When my clients are struggling with pain from the past or worries about the future, which are making it hard to enjoy the present, I will help them develop better ways of coping.  I received my Master’s Degree from Rutgers University in 2004 and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have considerable experience working with children and families. My clinical experience includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as providing individual and family therapy to children and families. I employ various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, as well as mindfulness and play therapy interventions.
